Hello and happy autumn! September is here in Portland and the chilly autumnal season has started to arrive…and I couldn’t be more excited. Fall is probably my favorite season to dress in, because of all of the layers, colors, and textures - ah! Today I wanted to share two looks that I’ve been loving for phasing into autumn as the seasons change — styling outfits in transitioning seasons can sometimes be a challenge and I hope these are inspiring to gather outfit ideas from!
This first look has been one of my go-to’s this last month! I found these vintage Gap trousers at Portland Flea a couple of weeks ago and can’t take them off - they’re so soft and comfortable! Trousers are 100% my favorite statement piece in the colder months. This blouse is from one of my favorite boutiques in Tacoma, WA - Satori, from last season — I love it for early fall because it’s light enough to not be too warm, but still flowy and elegant!
This little bag from Basader is also one of my favorite upscale pieces for taking out on the town - super simple and small enough for just the essentials.
My next look includes a vintage statement piece as well — this fancy skirt I also found at Portland Flea! I usually don’t include too many patterns in my day-to-day wardrobe, but simple, minimalist ones like this are fun to incorporate once in a while. The skirt is so flowy and comfortable as well, something I always appreciate!
This blouse is another vintage piece I found recently, I love how form-fitting it is and light, too! It’s another wonderful layering piece as the weather transitions.
I’m so excited to style more fall looks as the weather continues to get colder - and looking forward to sharing more looks on the blog! Let me know what you’d like to see more of in a comment!
