Why hello there! Today I’m popping in for a quick tutorial for two important reasons:
1 — Today I finally re-released my custom Lightroom preset pack, now in mobile version! Many hoorays - this has been long in the works and I’m so glad to have finally re-shared them with you all. They’re available for purchase here!
2 — Lightroom mobile presets tend to be a tricky thing to import and actually use, ha! I struggled majorly with it in the past and wanted to make a quick tutorial on how to quickly + easily import and use them without any tears.
So, without further ado —
Step 1 — Download your presets! These are downloaded in ZIP file from the purchase page on my website, and likely from any others that you’ll find online. You can do this via an un-zipping app, such as Unzip (which I used).
Step 2 — Upload your .dng file(s) to Lightroom Mobile. If you don’t already have the app, Lightroom Mobile is a free app that you can dynamically edit photos in! It’s the only one that my presets are usable in, so you’ll want it. :) If you have the Adobe Creative Cloud, you can sign in as well to receive the most features!
From Unzip, I simply tapped the three dots on the right of the file, and tapped “Open In” — which gave me a list of options, from which I picked Lightroom Mobile. Simple as that!
Step 3 — Once you’re in the Lightroom Mobile App with your opened .dng file, tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner (as pictured below), and click “Copy Settings.”
Step 4 — Open the photo you wish to edit in Lightroom Mobile.
Step 5 — Tap the three dots in the upper right hand corner once more, and tap “Paste Settings” this time to paste the new preset onto your photo!
And voila! Your photo should now have the new preset on it, and if all goes well it should be looking pretty cute! You can adjust the settings from here, such as exposure and warmth, to your liking, and then export it to share!
I hope this tutorial was easy + helpful for you! Lightroom Mobile is the most magical app, and with some fun presets in hand, the options are limitless for iPhone-ography opportunities. Have the most fun editing!

Cilck here to purchase the DL Europa preset pack (or either of the two individually) — if you use them and share on social media, be sure to use the hashtag #dakotalynnepresets so that I can see them and share them too.
Until next time, loves.
